I was so worried about how I was going to stay under the $2000 SSI resource limit this month, and then all my problems were miraculously solved when I got robbed! Sometimes the solution really does come from where you least expect it.
Now, I’m actually best friends with the person who robbed me because I just appreciated what they did so much. The robber kept repeating, “I’m doing this because I support disabled people.”
I completely believed them, so after they took my wallet, I was instantly like, “Hey, do you wanna exchange contact information? I’ve been looking for more friends that really live by disability justice morals, and it definitely seems like you do.”
They agreed, and even offered to introduce me to more people that could rob me on a regular basis. Then they put over $500 worth of purchases on my debit card immediately. It’s been such an amazing friendship so far.
I now make sure to get robbed at least every few weeks, and my new best friend keeps helping out by spending my money too, which makes me feel so loved and supported.
I’m going to try falling for obvious scams next to see which method is more effective. If you have any emails with suspicious links, send them my way!
