Gia Lombardo lives life on the edge: She started out with storm chasing, BASE jumping, and eating meat on the day it expired. But recently, she discovered a niche thrill – taking her medication as prescribed.
Lombardo explained, “I’ve done it all, and the mainstream adrenaline activities have formed a solid foundation. But really, they were child’s play compared to regularly taking medication that could kill me.”
The side effects of Lombardo’s medicine include extreme drowsiness, explosive diarrhea, and death.
She described her revelation. “It dawned on me: I don’t need to travel to Teahupoo for big-wave surfing. Danger can be shipped directly to my house by CVS Specialty Pharmacy.”
Euphoria permeated Lombardo’s interview. “Now, I never skip a dose. I wouldn’t dare miss a chance at death. My real disability is that I’m not afraid to die.”
