Man on Dating App Swears His Wheelchair Is 6’2″

Single bisexual man Dusty Hastings declared on his dating profile this week that his manual wheelchair was definitely, despite how it looks in pictures, “legit 6’2” tall for all you height kings and queens.”

When one of his matches, 31-year-old Anwar Patel, expressed doubt that such height was possible for a mobility device, Hastings reportedly unmatched him and updated his own profile to say “no haters.”

Patel reported looking up the pictured wheelchair online out of curiosity, and that curiosity soon turned into concern. “Listen, I don’t know how tall his body really is, but I checked and the wheels on that wheelchair are a max of 24 inches. If he altered it to be triple that, I’m honestly concerned for the guy’s safety.”

When we asked Hastings about the discrepancy between his stated wheelchair height and photos depicting him in front of various standard-height doorways appearing much shorter, he reported that the doors were “from one of those funhouses where everything looks shorter than it is. Or it’s AI. Yeah, go with that.”

Hastings was last seen messaging new match Ana Arturo, reportedly asking, “So how good is your depth perception?”
