Spinal cords are way too sensitive. We should stop coddling and enabling them. Maybe they wouldn’t have so many problems if they weren’t allowed to be such snowflakes! They need to learn to face the tough realities of life, and to not take out their problems on the rest of the body. What nerve!
A spinal cord is severed, and it acts like it’s the END OF THE WORLD. We all have issues — there’s no need to be so dramatic and paralyze someone’s limbs just because you were a little hurt. Emotional dysregulation, much?
Spinal cords can never seem to handle being covered in lesions, either. They shouldn’t be so vain. A lot of us have scars. It’s so over the top and ridiculous to cause multiple symptoms too. Pick one and stick with it.
The average spinal cord also completely freaks out when a few vertebrae are slightly out of place, instead of learning how to handle pressure. Be resilient!
To any spinal cords out there reading this: you need to remember that you already have a built-in safe space — you’re protected inside a body! What more could you possibly want?
You should be more like your sibling, the liver. If it can regenerate and repair itself after injury, why can’t you?
