You Didn’t Think We Were Finished Condescending To You About Your Benefits, Did You? —by The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board

To Our Dependents,

Remember a time before Trump, when we would warn you about pesky social issue distractions like disability, then say things like “yield curve” and “debt-to-GDP ratio” five times in the same commentary? A time when the average SSI recipient received $603 dollars per month? Oh, those were good days. To you, that was money hardly anything, but to us, it was everything! So many of millions of you sandbagging the market with the collective weight of your entitlements. We wrote op-ed after op-ed warning readership about the catastrophe it was taking us to – and you alone would be its cause.

You didn’t think we had forgotten about you, did you?
